Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Clear 340g

Dupli-Color® Engine Enamel contains Ceramic Resins for maximum heat dissipation and gloss retention. The resins offer protection from exposure to excessive heat and automotive fluids. Excellent for under-the-hood applications, Dupli-Color Engine Enamel will perform to the most rigorous standards of racing, street rod, and vehicle restoration enthusiasts. This durable formula resists temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) intermittently and produces a superior finish that will not blister, flake, crack, or peel.

Directions:

1. PREP: Once Dupli-Color Engine Enamel colour coats are complete, apply Dupli-Color Engine Enamel Gloss Clearcoat within one hour. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60 °F (16°C) and 95 °F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply paint in direct sun.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moved freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Allow 10 minutes between coats. Apply all coats within 1 hour. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours.

• Ideal for engine blocks, air cleaners, oil pans, valve covers, water pans, intake manifolds and other engine accessories.
• Formulated as a glossy clearcoat to go over any Dupli-Color Engine Enamel colour coat.
• Withstands temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).
• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
