Liquid gasket sealants create a more efficient seal between two surfaces due to the addition factor of a bond conjunction with a seal and high chemical resistance.
Threebond high temp silicone liquid gasket products have been tested in extreme conditions on racetracks worldwide with proven results. They have been utilised by the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers such as; Nissan, GM, GMH, Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Daihatsu, Mazda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Isuzu, Cummins, Kubota and Hitachi.
Applications:
Crankcases, plenum chamber, head gasket sealing with solid gasket on motorcycles, watercraft, snow mobiles, and ATV engines.
Directions:
- Clean flange surfaces with Threebond Super Cleaner (6602T-480) and wipe clean with methylated spirits. Ensure a dry, oil free surface.
- Apply a 3mm bead to one surface and around bolt holes and areas of the sealing surface.
- Assemble flanges as silicone starts to become tack free approx. 5-7minutes,
- Tighten to specified torque.
- Allow 24 hours for full cure prior to testing the sealing capabilities.
