Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Kits Silver

Dupli-Color® Caliper Paint makes customizing brake callipers easy. This durable, protective coating is resistant to chipping, brake dust, and automotive chemicals. Formulated with ceramic resins, this high-gloss coating resists temperatures up to 500°F. Caliper Paint is available in an aerosol can for applying to brake callipers when removed from your vehicle, and in a brush-on kit for applying when your brake callipers are not removed from your vehicle. The Dupli-Color Caliper Paint Kit includes Caliper Paint Tin, Caliper Aerosol Cleaner, Stir Stick, Paint Brush, Masking Tape, and Step-by-Step Instruction Booklet.

Kit Includes:

• Calliper Cleaner 311g x1.
• Calliper Paint 236mL x1.

Directions:

1. STEP ONE: Remove all four wheels from vehicle. Callipers and/or drums do not need to be removed. For best results, unbolt calliper and remove brake pads. Do not remove brake line.
2. STEP TWO: Clean surfaced to be painted with enclosed Dupli-Color Caliper Cleaner. Read directions and precautionary wording before use. Spray surface with Dupli-Color Caliper Cleaner.
3. STEP THREE: Scrub Caliper Cleaner on calliper with a clean toothbrush or equivalent. Wipe dry with a clean towel. Ensure to remove all brake dust and contaminants.
4. STEP FOUR: Mask-off the surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Tape off the brake bleeder screw, brake lines and calliper piston boots.
5. STEP FIVE: Read paint label directions and precautionary wording carefully. Remove lid from paint can. Stire contents thoroughly for 1 minute with enclosed stir stick.
6. STEP SIX: Apply paint to the calliper or drum with enclosed brush in thin, even strokes. Allow paint to set up for 12-20 minutes between coats. Apply additional coats as need to even out brush strokes and obtain full coverage. Paint required 2 hours to dry before installing wheels. Allow 24 hours for paint to fully cure prior to vehicle use. Use of rubber gloves is recommended.
