Dupli-Color Brake Caliper Paint Red 340g

Dupli-Color® Caliper Paint makes customizing brake callipers easy. This durable, protective coating is resistant to chipping, brake dust, and automotive chemicals. Formulated with ceramic resins, this high-gloss coating resists temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).

Directions:

1. PREP: Prepare surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Lightly sand the surface with 320-grit sandpaper or equivalent for maximum adhesion. Wipe down the surface again with grease and wax remover, then let dry. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (15°C) to 85°F (29°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply paint in direct sunlight.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats followed by 1 medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours.

• Formulated with ceramic resins to provide a customised enhancement to callipers, rotors, drums, and springs.
• Heat resistant up to 500°F (260°C).
• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
