Dupli-Color® Metal Specks Automotive Paint combines old school colour with new school technology to create the next evolution in metal flake paints of the past. Create a unique and custom brilliant-metallic finish with this coating that features tiny floating metallic flake suspended in vibrant paint. Metal Specks is ideal for customizing automotive accessories such as spoilers, mirrors, and moulding.

Directions:

1. PREP: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, wax, and grease using a quality grease and wax remover. Lightly sand the surface with 600-grit sandpaper or equivalent for maximum adhesion. Wipe down the surface again with grease and wax remover, then let dry. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from over spray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel at 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 2 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat with 10 minutes in between coats. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes. Can be handled in 1 hour. Recoat anytime.

• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
