Dupli-Color Wheel Paint High Performance Graphite 312g

Dupli-Color® Wheel Coating is perfect for customizing or dressing up worn out wheels. This advanced, track-tested acrylic enamel formula restores original wheel appearance and protects against brake dust, chemicals, cleaning solvents, heat, and chipping. Dupli-Color Wheel Coating features a highly durable finish with superior adhesion to steel, aluminium, and plastic wheels, and wheel coverings.

Directions:

1. PREP: Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, rust, grease, wax, etc. Use a grease and wax remover or Dupli-Color Prep Spray PS100 to clean surface. Lightly sand surface with 600-grit sandpaper wet or dry. Wipe surface down again with Dupli-Color Prep Spray PS100. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously after mixing ball moves freely and 10 second after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: If bare metal is exposed, apply Dupli-Color primer first. To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and apply in an even, sweeping motion. Apply 3 light coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. For additional coats after 1 hour, wait 7 days for paint to cure. Dries to the touch in 30 minutes. Can be handles in 1 hour. Apply Dupli-Color Gloss or Matte Clear Coat for added protection.

• Withstands intermittent temperatures up 250°F (121°C).
• Ideal for aluminium wheels, steel wheels, plastic hubcaps, and centre caps.
• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
