Ideal for use around home, garden, farm, boats, cars and caravans.

The greater the inlet or deliver heights, the more powerful the drill must be.

Can be used with fresh water, sea water, organic solvents, motor oil, heating oil, insecticides, liquid fertilisers.

Never use with concentrated acids or volatile, inflammable liquids such as petrolm, nor liquids which leave residue or solidify on drying.

Contents:

Pump, mounting bracket with plastic strap, filter. 4-Bladed rotor with reversed nylon tip pieces. Pump body in corrosion, heat and wear resistant resin plastic. Spindle (6mm diameter) and internal discs in stainless steel.

Hose Diameter: 

20mm (5/8") internal.

Inlet Hose: 

Connect to side marked 'IN' rigid or semi rigid pipe, maximum length 3m (10ft)

Supply Hose: 

Connect to side marked 'OUT'. Flexible hose may be used. Fix the filter onto the end of the inlet hose, securing it with a jubilee clip. Inlet and supply hoses should be similary secured to the pump with clips. Fix or weight the filter below the surface of the liquid to be pumped. Severe bends or kinks in the inlet and supplie pipe should also be avoided.

Self-Priming:

For priming, on start up, the pump should be as close as possible o the liquid. When pumping, the pump may be raised (but no more than 2m above the surface of th liquid).

Performance:

Delivery Rate - without the inlet filter, delivery around 40-50L/min. With the filter in use, delivery rate will be slightly reduced.

Delivery Pressure:

Around 2KG/CM (28PSI) at ground level. 

Note: These performace figures may vary according to the power and operating speed of the drill.

Maximum Inlet Head:

Up to 2m vertically above surface of liquid to be pumped.

Maximum Pumping Head Outlet:

Up to 15m vertically above pump, when pumping water.

Uses:

In the Home - emptying blocked baths, sinks, washing machines, fish tanks, pumping out flooded cellars.

In the Garden or Farm - emptying ponds, wadding pools, watering in time of drought, transferring insecticides, pumping out tanks.

On Boats - pumping out bilges, emptying oil from the engine, washing down your boat.

On Cars and Caravans - Drawing off water from the radiator before adding antifreeze, transferring water into storage container in van.

Instructions for Use:

2000 to 3000RPM maximum speed load with a drill of at least 350W rating. If you do not have an horizontal drill support, you may use a small board to support the pump/drill unit. Line up the drill and the pump, and fix the pump on the drill side with the supplied strap, tightening it moderately only in order to permit slight rocking. Place the handle of the drill on the left so that the torque holds it on the board. Ensure that any cooling openings are clear.

Maintenance:

If the nylon rotor blade tips become worn, they may be reversed to expose the unworn surface. 

After use, the pump should be cleaned by pumping through water with a little detergent added. Then follow by clean water to rinse.
