VHT Engine Enamel Gloss Clear 312g

VHT Engine Enamels™ are available in a wide range of colours, including exact match factory colours. All colours have excellent durability and superior heat and chemical resistance. They are specially formulated to withstand corrosion, rust, salt spray, chemicals and additives of today's gasoline blends and degreasers. VHT Engine Enamels™ are a unique blend of urethane and ceramic resins, which produce a tough and long-lasting finish for engines, engine accessories or wherever a tough, durable heat or chemical-resistant finish is needed.

Directions:

1. PREP: Allow VHT Engine Enamel Colour 30 minutes to dry before applying VHT Gloss Engine Enamel Clearcoat. Prepare the surface by removing loose paint, dirt, grease, wax, etc using a grease and wax remover, then let dry. Lightly scuff/sand surface with 600-grit sandpaper or equivalent wet or dry. Wipe surface down again with grease and wax remover. Mask-Off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from the surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. To avoid runs and sags, apply in 2 lights coats, followed by one medium wet coat. Apply all coats within 1 hour, allowing 10 minutes between each coat. After 1 hour, wait 7 days for additional coats. Dries to the touch in 1 hour and can be handled in 3 hours.

• Ideal for engine blocks, heads, intake manifolds, water pumps, oil pans and valve cover.
• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
