Dupli-Color Night Shades Lens Paint Black 283g

Dupli-Color Night Shades is a transparent black taillight lens coating that is designed to give you vehicle that custom appearance. When applied, Dupli-Color Night Shades give your lights a “Black Out” appearance until they are lit, then the natural colour shows through. Ideal for taillights, fog lights, side markers or turn indicators. Recommended for off-road use.

Directions:

1. PREP: Removing the substrate from the vehicle is recommended for ease of application. Prepare the surface by removing any oil, grease, wax, or road tar. For best results wipe down with a grease and wax remover and a clean cloth to clean the surface. Mask-off surrounding areas to protect from overspray. Use at temperatures between 60°F (16°C) and 95°F (35°C) and when humidity is less than 60%.
2. SHAKE: Shake can vigorously for one full minute after mixing ball moves freely. Shake can for 10 seconds after each minute of use.
3. APPLY: To spray, hold can parallel and 8-10 inches from surface to be painted and use in an even, sweeping motion. Apply one light coat or just enough to change lens colour. DO NOT exceed more than 3 coats or light may not show through. Dried to the touch in 1 hour. Can be handled in 3 hours. Cures completely in 24 hours.

• Optional: Apply a clear lacquer for added gloss and protection.
• Removing substrate from the vehicle is recommended for ease of application.
• Provides a customised transparent-tint enhancement to taillights, fog lights side markers and turn indicators.
• For off-road use only.
• Once applied to plastic, the paint cannot be satisfactorily removed.
• Too many coats can result in light not showing through – please refer to directions.
• The EZ Touch Nozzle requires 50% less finger fatigue than a standard nozzle and allows for greater coverage and less overspray.
• After each use, invert can and spray until clear gas comes out.
• If spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection and wipe off orifice with lacquer thinner. DO NOT stick pins or wire into the can opening. Discard empty can in trash pick-up.
• Covers approximately 12-14 square feet per can.
