Ratchet Tie Down 50mm x 10m Super Heavy-Duty

Conforms to AS/NZ 4380 Australian Standard

Extra-strong polyester webbing & high UV resistance Ratchet Tie Down with hook & keeper to suit up to 40mm tubing.

Heavy-duty and extra large grip handle.

Operating Instructions: *Figures provided on backside of product*

1. Place webbing over the load and attach hooks to soild anchor points.

2. Insert free end of the webbing through slot in ratchet wheel and pull webbing through a few centimetres. Then hold webbing and pull until all slack is removed (see Figure A).

3. Pump ratchet handle and wind 2 to 4 layers of webbing around reel to secure and set to desired tension. Be aware too many layers of webbing may jam ratchet. If too many layers of webbing on wheel, start procedure over by first removing all slack from webbing load (see Figure B).

4. Always lock the ratch by leaving the handle in the closed position (see Figure C).

5. To release, pullback the release bar and open the handle all the way to 180 degrees (see Figure D).

6. When not in use, store in storage bag  and keep in dry areas

1} User to evaluate Lashing Capacity requirements. 2} Area of attachment on vehicle or trailer must be sufficient strength to hold load. 3} Load can shift and settle whilst traveling; check tie down regularly. 4} Do not use if fittings are damaged or webbing is cut, frayed, burned, melted or abraded. 5} Use only as a Tie Down, never for lifting, towing or personal restraint. 6} Never stand directly in the path of a load under tension. 7} Check regularly for visible signs of wear and tear. If in doubt of serviceability, please withdraw from use.
